I love this fashion conscience website. Get your dose of fashion, celeb news and designer sales with a conscience. I loved this Sequined Kimono Dress.
It is pouring with rain in Cape Town with record swells and destructive winds. So with no doubt in my mind I am sourcing online under a blanket on the couch today for inspiration for my “Home office” shoot I am creating next week. I always come to Style-Files for decor inspiration. They feature the best homes! Take a look at some quirky images below from Style-Files.

I am sure you have realized by now I am an avid fan of Babazeka. They have just taken part in their first Sanlam S.A. Fashion Week, read what Sarah has to say here. I am rather disappointed for Babazeka and it sounds like many of the stores where not too impressed with the organization and attendance. People wafting through to be “seen” and and to rub shoulders with the “Whose who”. Pretty sad really! Fashion and design should be taken with a pinch of salt I think. Wear what you like, appreciate good quality and craftsmanship and who cares what the fashion editor next to you is wearing. You aren’t her and she isn’t you, and that what’s makes life great.
Anyway, Welldone Babazeka on what looks like a great stand! We’ll be watching out for you at the next Design Indaba !

I don’t know if I will ever use these little bags, most probably on a shoot more like it, but I couldn’t resist these off the night market street of Luang Prubang, Laos. I got one for my niece and hope she will use hers more than me, but they are just so different and cute! lots more bags to show you ladies..
I had to share these with you. Raw silk clutch bags I got in Cambodia at the Old Market in Siem Reap. The colours were incredible, bright turquoise blue and cerise pinks. I couldn’t chose and so got these four colours. At R60 (+-$8) why not. I loved this silver silk clutch too, I loved the ribbon detail and the the little strap. I am sorted for all my weddings coming up..now about a dress..

I love these bread boards from L’ Orangerie. I was lucky enough to receive this butter dish below from a friend. Mmm now to get my hands on the matching cups and saucers. I love green and most of my ceramics are some shade of green(the dirty shade like olive or sage) These are also from L’ Orangerie.
Woolworths has the sweetest selection of cheese boards in different wood shades and shapes. I love the matching salt spoons. Just add bread, olive oil, course salt and we have a winning recipe here..
